MySQL/Sun announces PrimeBase Technologies as certified storage engine
Santa Clara -- 15 April 2008 -- MySQL/Sun announced at the 2008 MySQL Users Conference today, PrimeBase Technologies and the PrimeBase XT (PBXT) transactional storage engine as one of four certified storage engines with the upcoming MySQL 5.1 Server.
"We continue to make an impact in the MySQL community and MySQL ecosystem" as quoted by Paul McCullagh, CTO and lead architect of PBXT.

Providing full ACID compliance for transaction support, MVCC (Multi versioned currency control) and automated crash safe recovery, PBXT will be beta in May 2008 with the current MySQL 5.1 Release Candidate (RC) which is anticipated to be generally available (GA) in end of Q2, 2008.
